UCC, member of ANIMA since 1950, is the Association of the Manufacturers of Boilers and Pressure Vessels; the Italian Manufacturers of the following products join UCC:
• big tanks field assembled
• pressure vessels
• simple pressure vessels
• water tube boilers
• shell tube boilers
• pipelines and penstocks
• heat exchangers
• design and calculation of pressure vessels

The purpose of the association is to promote and defend the members' interests collaborating constructively with the General Confederation of the Italian Industry, the Ministry of Industry, The European Commission with the goal to create a jurisprudence that supports the business of this industrial sector .
Furthermore UCC is member of CECT, the European Association of Boilers and Pressure Vessels' Manufacturers.

UCC offers to its members:
• regular updating of the development of national and European legislation concerning this specific field;
• training courses, congresses and workshops;
• information about the work in progress on technical standards worked out by CEN and ISO Technical Committees;
• the chance of consulting foreign codes regarding the design of pressure vessels;
• the chance of consulting all UNI standards and the assistance for buying them;
• the service "Expert's answers": technical support to the interpretation and application of main codes and information about what to do to obtain specific certifications in extra European countries.
